EDITORIAL AND CALCULATION POLICY
How we prepare and check an analysis.
TOOOLBOX publishes tool documentation and worked analysis only when the relationship to a live product is clear. Page count, word count, and search coverage are not substitutes for original calculation or evidence.
Publication requirements
| Decision fit | The page must help interpret or use a live TOOOLBOX tool; unrelated keyword coverage is not published for search. |

| Reproducibility | A worked case shows intermediate arithmetic or an explicit decision rule, not only a final score. |
| Source role | An official source is linked for the specific factual layer it supports; a citation does not endorse the full conclusion. |
| Uncertainty | Missing data remains unknown, date precision is preserved, and proxies are not relabelled as direct observations. |
| Boundaries | Every case states what it does not prove and what must be verified with an agency or qualified professional. |
| Editorial form | The structure follows the question: walkthrough, comparison, threshold test, data audit, or evidence timeline. One repeated article outline is not a publication standard. |
| Owner accountability | A dated review ID, source-access date, owner-authorized scope, completed preparation checks, and correction route appear on every Decision Note. |
AI and human review
AI assists drafting, research organization, implementation, arithmetic, source checks and browser verification. The owner authorizes the work and retains publication responsibility. A technical-check date records those preparation checks; it is not a human sign-off. No separate human fact-check is currently recorded for Decision Notes. Any future human review will carry its own date, attribution and scope. AI-generated volume is never a publication goal.
For a source-backed data note, the verification record requires opening the cited official page, matching the quoted value and time period, independently recalculating every displayed transformation, and reading the final copy specifically for claims that exceed the source. The owner authorizes the publication scope; the article separately shows the checks completed during preparation and does not label them as licensed professional review.
Corrections
- Confirm the affected URL, input, formula, source, or wording.
- Reproduce the issue against the current tool and public page.
- Correct the calculation or claim, update the reviewed date, and record material changes.
- If confidence is insufficient, remove the page from navigation and search until review is complete.
Commercial separation
Advertising and affiliate relationships do not buy a position in a calculation, source register, or ranking. Sponsored rankings disguised as tool output are not published. Advertising is intended for substantive content pages, not empty, error, navigation-only, or withheld pages.
